Draft — needs review
Complete in substance but pending review by a qualified adviser and the
[operator identity] details before the store opens for sales.
Our books are digital and delivered instantly. That changes how refunds work — but if anything goes wrong on our side, we'll always make it right.
1. Digital goods and your right of withdrawal
Under EU and Spanish consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right does not apply once delivery has begun, provided you gave your prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m); Spanish TRLGDCU art. 103(m)). You give that consent at checkout when you ask to receive your download straight away.
This means that once your download link has been delivered, the sale is final and not generally refundable.
2. When we do give a refund
We want you to actually get and enjoy the book you paid for. We'll refund or replace when:
- the file is corrupted or won't download, and we can't fix it;
- you were charged twice for the same book, or charged in error;
- you bought the wrong book by mistake and have not downloaded it.
Please contact us within 14 days of purchase and, where relevant, tell us what went wrong so we can help. Not enjoying a story, or having already read it, isn't something we can refund — that's why Book 1 of every series is free, so you can try the writing before you buy.
3. How refunds are processed
Payments are handled by Payhip as merchant of record, so approved refunds are issued through Payhip back to your original payment method. It can take a few business days for your bank to show it.
4. How to ask
Email [contact email] with your order email and, if you have it, your Payhip receipt or order number. See also How it works for help getting your book onto your device — most "it won't open" issues are a quick fix, not a reason to miss out on the book.
